Bruce Lee Authentic Autographs

Below are some examples of authentic Bruce Lee Autographs. Dating from early 60's up to the early 70's. These are good genuine examples of original Bruce Lee signed memorabilia.
I have also added a selection at the bottom of the page of typical Bruce Lee forgeries. These are very common to find compared to the authentic signatures.
Bruce Lee Forgeries
Many of Bruce Lee autographs on the market are forgeries. I have seen many Enter The Dragon signed photo's and we all know that Bruce did not sign any of these (just as Brandon never signed any The Crow photographs).
These were published after the death of Bruce.
Another famous forgery that we see on the market is signed books from after Bruce Lee's death. Bruce Lee died in 1973 so if you ever see a signed book thats dated later than this then it will be a fake.

This is one of the most common Bruce Lee forgery. Usually seen on pieces of paper like this or Enter The Dragon photographs.

Very bad forgery from Hawaii. Be very careful from autographs from Hawaii, there is a couple who have been selling Bruce Lee autographs by the hundreds. Usually with authenticity there surname is usually at the top, their surnames are Chan. They have been banned from the UACC.
Forgery that has recently hut the market. These forgeries do not have any Resemblance to authentic autographs and are completely different to other forgeries. Perhaps made by someone who has never seen a Bruce Lee authentic signature.
Hand signed Black & White photo by Bruce. Items like these are extremely rare.

This forgery originates from California USA. It has been signed by the same people who also make the signed Lp's that you see for sale by the loads. Some also come with a Forensic Examination which is also false.

Quite good forgery, As you can see who signed this, took there time with it and many parts look really shaky.
One of the best forgeries we have seen. But if you look really closely at it you will start to notice many parts of the handwriting is very weak and totally different. Also notice the "L" for Lee cut short which isn't as free flowing as authentic Lee signatures. (We will not give all details away because we don't want the forgers to know all parts that are wrong)
Bruce Lee signed Kato postcard. As you can see with the signature it has been signed very slowly which makes it look all shaky. If you look at genuine Bruce Lee Autographs these are done very nice and fast.

Note reading To Doug, Best Wishes, signed Bruce Lee "Kato" under the signature. One of very few Authentic Kato signatures found on the market.
Enter the Dragon photo with a fake Bruce Lee autograph. If you study the Best Wishes on these compared to the authentic sets you will start noticing many differences.
You can notice the forger starting doing the B the wrong way which made it have two lines on the far left. Also look at the two "ee" in Lee. Do you think the forger forgot how to spell Lee?
Reads To Pat, Bruce's hand writing was very different than this forgery. And for the B in Bruce well enough said.
Do watch out for these thick pen signatures. Sometimes they can hide many factors but not in this case.
